Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is among the most requested cosmetic treatments at Bayley Dental in Waterloo ON. It is an affordable and convenient way to improve the appearance of your smile, without any alterations to the tooth structure.

HOW TEETH WHITENING WORKS
Enamel, which comprises the outermost layer of a tooth, is naturally much lighter than underlying dentin. In adolescence, a person’s smile is generally bright and uniform in colour. However, that enamel can acquire stains over time, causing teeth to become dark, yellowed, or unevenly coloured. Dental teeth whitening works with a professional strength, peroxide based gel that breaks up stains and restores the youthful colour of tooth enamel.
Whitening options for stunning smiles

At a young age, our teeth are healthy and white. But over time, the enamel coating the tooth is slowly worn down, causing our teeth to become stained and yellow, which is why teeth whitening is becoming increasingly popular today. There are a few methods for whitening. They include at home and in-office. With in-office treatments, you’ll see faster results, receive the safest treatment for bleaching the teeth, and yield the whitest smile. So don’t settle for teeth that have become stained from years of coffee drinking, tobacco use, or just aging. Ask your dentist about whitening options that may be right for you.
